JET		Beginnings. Having grown up in the suburbs of Melbourne on a strict diet of classic rock, the Cester brothers (Nic is three years older at 24) found disaster looming. A terrible blight was about to hit the youth of the Melbourne suburbs. Grunge. I couldn't stand the stuff, continues Nic. To me that was real slit your wrists music. It didn't relate to this idea of rock'n'roll I had in my head.

John Butler Trio		John Butler was born in Torrance California on April 1st, 1975, he moved to Australia in 1986 to a small town in Western Australia called, Pinjarra. He currently lives with his wife and child between homes outside Byron Bay and in Melbourne. Shannon Birchall (bass player) lives in Melbourne. Michael Barker (drummer) is from New Zealand originally and currently lives in Melbourne.

Taxiride		Axiomatic: "A statement, a situation that doesn't need proof to be believed." says Taxiride's Jason Singh. "It's a strong belief in yourself" adds Tim Wild. "There's a running theme throughout the record touching on conspiracy theories, whether it be personal, political or futuristic. It's a meeting of the minds, writing songs that are both musical and topical."
